The Legend of Zorro/Kaiketsu Zorro Is an anime television of 52 episodes produced by Ashi Productions and co-produced by Italy's Mondo TV and the Japanese Toho in 1995, directed by Katsumi Minoguchi.
This anime adaptation has been made rather loosely inspired by the original character of Zorro: in this series Don Diego de la Vega is blond and moves with a white horse is not the servant Bernardo dumb, but has become a child who goes dressed as Zorro he also has a girlfriend Official Don Diego, Lolita. Don Diego, as his father, is always very calm and reasonable (and as civil as the caped), unlike Lolita and Bernard who are always ready to fight and never think about the risks. His father had understood from the beginning that he was Zorro, a stranger can understand, but simply covering his face with a mask over his eyes and a hat on his father is not deceived.
From the series was made into a film editor, available on DVD and broadcast on Cartoon Network channels and Boing.
In Italy the series aired in April 1995 and arrived in Japan in 1996.
