Samurai Champloo (Chanpurū Samurai) Is an anime TV episodes of 2004. Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, the director of Cowboy Bebop, and is produced by Manglobe. It is set in Japan, Edo period in a fictional, containing elements of action, adventure and comedy blended with an anachronistic soundtrack based hip-hop music. The name comes from the Okinawan dialect "chanpurū", which means 'mix' or 'merge', in the spirit of the series. It is published in Italy by Panini Video.
Mugen is A brash, nineteen-year-old vagabond from the Ryukyu Islands, Mugen is a wanderer with a wildly unconventional fighting style. He wears metal-soled geta and wears an exotic sword on his back. In Japanese, the word "Mugen" means "infinite" (literally, "without limit" or "limitless")
